More About Bishop

Bishop is a three to four-year-old black-and-tan doxie mix who weighs about 20 pounds. We think he's mostly dachshund with a smidge of something else: He is slightly bigger than a tweenie doxie, and he has long legs, which make him a great choice for someone with stairs in their home. Affectionate, cuddly and sweet, Bishop is an energetic doxie who needs to play and exercise a lot. Although he is independent and curious, he is also miserable on his own, so he needs to go to a home with another dog, preferably another dachshund. Bishop is an agile dog with springs in his paws, so his new home must have a safe backyard with a tall fence he can't jump. He's not a runner, but if he sees a squirrel, he'll chase it!
