Frankie is a handsome, if you're into that 'Jabba the Hut' look, which we are, fawn & black purebred pug! He is a healthy senior, about 10 years old, an easy going, go-with-the-flow, laid-back kind of guy. Typical pug, he loves to snort, and snuggle in bed with you! Oh, and did we forget to mention eating, his favorite activity? Frankie could stand to loose a few pounds. What a super sweet and funny dog, he is a charming character! He gets along well with other small dogs and CATS TOO!

Fletcher is an adorable tiny Pomeranian! He is about 7 pounds and about 8 years old. It's hard to believe that Fletcher is not a youngster when you see him in action! He is active, alert, intelligent and house-trained. Gets along amazingly well with other dogs, he even likes to play with puppies! We bet he'll like cats too. Like many Poms, he had terrible teeth- the only way to 'fix' his dental disaster was to pull all of his remaining teeth. He manages just fine without his teeth. Fletcher will be a truly a joyful addition to the person lucky enough to adopt him!

Fiona is a pretty orange pommie. She is a loving, active adult dog, weighing in at a whopping 6 pounds. She will be even more beautiful when her coat grows out, with her little foxy pointy face. She's a little scared now, but not at all snappy, just a little shy and withdrawn around strangers. That maybe due to the fact that she is a brand new rescue out of the shelter, where she spent about 3 weeks ... that would make anyone wary we think.
Now that she is in a loving foster home, she will very likely become a completely different dog: more out-going and confident.
Fiona is house-trained and gets along well with other small dogs and cats, too.

Felix is a 6 month old wirehair doxie. What a doll! We believe that he would make a wonderful family dog: he is a great with everyone including children and other dogs. He is sweet and outgoing and friendly. Fun and playful, Felix has lots of puppy energy! He seems to be housetrained. He doesn't have to be in a home another dog, although he would love to share his home with one. He absolutely loves children!

Evelyn is a gorgeous orange pommie. A senior, about 10 years old, only 6 pounds! Very sweet, spunky little girl! Evelyn would love to be in a home where someone is almost always home, or with another small older dog. An added bonus, as with many older dogs, Evelyn is house-trained! Edward is a stunningly handsome 3 year old, 13 pound pomeranian. We rescued him from the shelter afterhe was he found on the street having been hit by a car. He had severe pelvic fractures and a torn ligament in his ankle. It took 3 surgeries to get him fixed up and now he is resting and healing and well on his way to full recovery. What a trooper!

Even when this cutie pie was in a great deal of pain he was sweet and friendly. He seemed to know that FINALLY he was being taken care of by people who loved him. For the next 6 weeks, until June 10th, he will need to have restricted activity: leash walks only, and no rough and tumble play with other dogs, so that he can have time to completely heal. His prognosis is excellent! Our fantastic surgeons at ASEC expect a full recovery.

He's currently being cared for in a wonderful foster home. If interested in adopting please know that you will need to continue with his 'restricted activity' until the 6 week period is up (approx. June 10.) Edward can be SHOWN BY APPOINTMENT ONLY TO QUALIFIED APPLICANT, but will not attend our public adoption events.
